At Empowered Voices Speech and Language Therapy, we believe every child deserves to communicate in ways that feel authentic, confident and meaningful.
Empowered Voices Speech and Language Therapy Ltd was founded by Maddy Burnett in 2025.
Maddy is a highly experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist who graduated from Reading University in 2018 with Distinction.
Following graduation, Maddy worked for 8 years within the NHS, gaining extensive experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.
During this time, she worked across:
• Mainstream schools
• Specialist resource provisions (ARPs)
• Special schools
• Borough-wide training and support within Ealing
Empowered Voices Speech and Language Therapy is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice, supporting children to communicate in ways that are meaningful and authentic to them.
All therapists working with Empowered Voices are:
• Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Members of the Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP)
• Fully insured and enhanced DBS checked
